    • A service-level agreement (SLA) is a part of a service contract where a service is formally defined. It is more common in case of Internet service provider and the customers but the term has slowly found its usage in industries like manufacturing as well. Typically like any other agreements, it has usually two parties (sometimes more than that), in which one is service provider and the other is customer. Depending upon the context it can have a legal binding as well.
