    • The Indian Military Academy, Dehradun (also known as IMA) is the officer training Academy of the Indian Army.The campus is located in the state of Uttarakhand and was established on 01st October 1932.The emblem of IMA consists of blood red color and steel grey color denoting valor and bravery. The institute was established to train Indians so that they can be commissioned as officers in the Indian army.The candidate who is admitted to IMA is referred to as Gentleman Cadet.
