    • International Cricket Council is the governing body for cricket in the world. It is responsible for holding ODI, test cricket and twenty20 cricket across the world. One of its major tournaments is ODI world Cup. The first edition of the ODI was held in the year 1975 and was won by the might West Indies team. ICC has a elected body of representatives from various member countries. One of the other major responsibilities of ICC is to promote cricket among none cricketing countries. It has toyed with the idea of a world tournament for test cricket but things are yet to materialize.
