    • The Canadian Football League (CFL) (Ligue canadienne de football (LCF) in French) is a professional sports league located in Canada. The inaugural session was held in the year 1958.
    • A compact fluorescent lamp (CFL), also called compact fluorescent light, energy-saving light, and compact fluorescent tube. Simply put it is a modern replacement to the energy intensive electric bulb or incandescent lamp. The main components of a CFL are

      1. Magnetic or electronic ballast

      2. Gas filled tube (bulb or burner)

      The major advantages associates with CFL are:

      1. Spectrum of Light (color of light)

      2. Longer lifespan

      3. Energy efficient

      As CFL replaced traditional incandescent bulb, LED have slowly developed as an alternative to the CFL. LED lights are much more efficient, consume lesser power and have larger life as compared to the CFL.

      CFL were able to replace incandescent bulb so easily was also because they did not require any special fixtures and can be easily fitted inside the former light fixtures.
